This little scarf was kind of an improv “design” I did 1-2 years ago. I didn’t think of it much until recently I wore it when meeting a friend and she loved it so much. She’s been waiting for a knitted item from me so I told her I’d give it to her, but I thought I’d write up a pattern before that. Fortunately, I have some notes I jotted down in my Google docs. Here’s what I gathered up to the best of my memory. Enjoy!

This is so pretty. I plan on making it with fingerling weight, do you have any suggestions on adjusting the pattern? I think I may increase the number to cast on and the number of rows. I’ll be sure to post a pic on Ravelry when I’m done
I’m glad you like it! It’s actually very easy to customize. You can make it as long as you want (as many CO’s as needed) and just do the wrap & turns at the end, knitting all sts in between. Looking forward to see it!
This is a very nice work, thanks for sharing.
But I can not understand this.
*4/1/12 – Revised the row numbers to count from the start.

Thanksssssssssss
I just made a minor revision — only necessary for those who saw this pattern before the date. Thanks for your comment!
